In a recent event at RR Layout of Ullal Ward, Yeshavantpur Assembly Constituency, MLA ST Somasekhar emphasized his commitment to address the challenges faced by the constituency. At the inauguration and flag hoisting ceremony during the 68th Kannada Rajyotsav program, he assured residents of continuous support and dedicated service. Acknowledging the issues that have plagued the area without proper accountability, Somasekhar pledged to take proactive steps to tackle each problem in collaboration with relevant officials. He expressed his intention to conduct public meetings involving various departments to comprehensively resolve the grievances of Rajarajeshwari Barangay’s citizens. In a gesture highlighting his commitment to serve the constituency, Somasekhar affirmed his readiness to personally address any concerns raised by the residents. His aim is to transform Yeshavantpur into an exemplary constituency, fulfilling his duty as a dedicated servant to the people. HL Prasad, General Secretary of the Rajarajeshwari Barangay Citizens’ Forum, stressed the longstanding issues faced by the community, particularly concerning education. Despite land sales intended to support children’s educational progress, citizens lamented the lack of adequate resources for education. The event witnessed the submission of a petition by MLA ST Somasekhar on behalf of the barangay’s citizens. Former Taluk Panchayat President Anil Kumar, Nagdevanahalli Ramanna, and several other community leaders were also present, collectively showing support for the initiative to address the constituency’s challenges and improve residents’ lives.
