India secured a series victory against Nepal by winning the fourth T20 match at the Bathereat Police Gymkhana Cricket Ground, claiming a 3-1 lead with one match remaining. Nepal, put into bat, posted a competitive total of 165/6 in 20 overs. In response, India successfully chased down the target in the 19th over to seal the series. Binita, the leading run-scorer in the series, provided Nepal with a strong start alongside Mankeshi Chaudhary, forming a 101-run partnership in the initial 12 overs. Despite Binita’s departure in the 14th over after scoring 69 runs, Srijana Pariyar continued to contribute. However, India made a comeback in the latter part of the innings, taking wickets in the final four overs to limit Nepal to 165/6. In the chase, Sushma Patel and Ravanni propelled India to a quick start, reaching their fifty within six overs. Although Ravanni was dismissed in the seventh over, Sushma and Basanti Hansda built a crucial 66-run partnership. Despite losing wickets in the 14th and 16th overs, India comfortably chased down the target in the 19th over. Sushma Patel, who scored 45 runs in 37 balls, was named the Player of the Match. With the series already decided in favor of India, the fifth T20 on Friday will be a dead rubber. After winning the first two T20s, India faced a setback in the third game but bounced back in the fourth to clinch the series.
