The Compulsory Service (Amendment) Bill for candidates who have completed Karnataka Medical Courses of 2023 in the approved form was passed in the Legislative Council on Wednesday.
Dinesh Gundurao, Minister of Health and Family Welfare, asked for the Bill to be consulted. Accordingly, Speaker Basavaraja Horatti allowed discussion on the bill. After the discussion, the Speaker put the bill to vote. The House members agreed to the bill. After the Health Minister asked for the passage of the Bill, the Speaker announced that the Bill had been passed.
