BSP Unveils Candidate For City Rural: Promising A Shift In Constituency Development

The Bharatiya Samaj Party (BSP) has set the stage for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by nominating Dr. Chennappa Y. Chikkahagade as their candidate for the Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha Constituency. This strategic move was orchestrated by Marasandra Muniappa, the State President, during a pivotal meeting at Shirsha Bhawan in Ramanagara. With 28 constituencies secured, BSP gears up to contest this significant constituency, banking on the candidacy of Dr. Chikkahagade, a distinguished figure renowned for his past social endeavors and accomplishments as a recipient of national awards. Dr. Chikkahagade, also serving as the State Treasurer, has pledged immediate and comprehensive commitment across all fronts. Addressing the electorate, Daki Chinnappa Vaichikkahagade, the candidate and state treasurer, vehemently criticized the Congress and BJP governments, denouncing their alleged anti-poor and anti-constitutional policies. He spotlighted incumbent MP D.K. Suresh’s alleged lack of attention toward constituency issues, particularly the neglect of youth and farmer concerns in both urban and rural sectors. Promising a shift in direction, Dr. Chikkahagade pledged unwavering dedication to drive holistic development should BSP secure victory. The announcement also witnessed the presence and support of several prominent party members including State Secretary B. Annadasappa, Nagesh, District President Krishnappa, CA, Muniyallaj, District Lustuvarigalala Gourakankaro, Sanami Mithina Reddy, Gouramma Shivalinge Gowda, Anitha Kumar Jari, Venkatajila, and Murugesh, underscoring a united front and collective determination toward BSP’s electoral aspirations.
