In a post on X, President Yoon celebrated the enduring ties between South Korea and India since their formal establishment of relations on December 10, 1973. Celebrating 50 incredible years of friendship between South Korea and India! Look forward to working with PM Modi to fortify our Special Strategic Partnership, he conveyed, referring to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In September, President Yoon engaged in discussions with PM Modi during the G20 summit in New Delhi, where both leaders affirmed their commitment to enhance strategic communication and collaboration. The designation of the special strategic partnership was conferred upon the two countries in 2015.
