Two-Day Mega Education Career Utsav Begins, Aims To Reach Out 1.50 Lakh Students

Bengaluru, December 9: The much-awaited education event – Career Utsav, began on Saturday at Tripura Vasini, Palace Grounds and it is aimed to reach out to more than 1,50,000 students in Bengaluru and Indore in two days. Speaking after inaugurating the Career Utsav, Chetan Bhagat, an IIT & IIM Alumni and a banker before pursuing his passion to write and claim his dues as an author with many bestseller titles under his credits, has said the Career Utsav is an excellent initiative for our students. The seminars and workshops on various topics will equip our students with all the information and knowledge they need to make informed career decisions. I really wish I had such a platform when I was in school,’’ said Chetan Bhagat. He said that he is excited and looking forward to addressing the students this year too. More than 10,000 students from around 70 colleges attended the event. Around 30 workshops and seminars were organised to guide the students on their career. The students were provided free entry, free psychometric assessment worth Rs 3,000, free distribution of book ‘Careers After +2’, a common platform for institutes and aspirants, experience the real time ambience of Mock IIT-JEE & NEET, and cash rewards for top 100 achievers. CA Mr Srial Jain, founder of K2 Learning, Dr M P Shayam, president of RV Group of Institutions. Mr Srikanth from ICFAI University, Mr Suhail Ahmed, Vice Chairman of Presidency University, Mr Raghav Mantri, founder and managing director of IES, and Dr Janarthan, Pro Vice Chancellor of Dayanand Sagar University were among those presented on the occasion.
