Delhi police have arrested one suspect in the case involving the death of a police constable in Nangloi on September 29. The accused, identified as Rajnish, is currently in police custody for three days. Authorities are also working to apprehend a second suspect. Police have seized the vehicle involved in the incident and formed multiple teams to conduct raids across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana in search of the second suspect.

In a related development, a habeas corpus petition was filed in the Delhi HC regarding the alleged road rage incident that resulted in the death of 30-year-old constable Sandeep, who was dragged about 10 meters by a speeding car. The driver’s reckless behavior led to the tragic incident, and the car has been seized, although the driver is still missing. The court will review the legality of the detention of the accused’s wife today.
