‘Yaanai’ Tamil movie features Arun Vijay in the lead role, and the actor has united with his brother-in-law director Hari for the film. The high-budget action thriller has been made in director Hari’s conventional style, and the post-production work has been going on steadily. Now, the makers of Arun Vijay’s ‘Yaanai’ have locked a release date well ahead. The film is set to release in theaters on May 6 to celebrate the summer holidays. Since several movies have been in search of a release date, ‘Yaanai’ makers have fixed the release date two months ahead to confirm their berth.
‘Yaanai’ will be released along with the dubbed Telugu version ‘Enugu’, and it’s going to be the first dual release of Arun Vijay.
Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, while the film also has Samuthirakani, Yogi Babu, Raadhika, Ammu Abirami, Rajesh, Thalavasal Vijay, Imman Annachi, and Bose Venkat in prominent roles. GV Prakash Kumar has scored the music, and he has already stated about the film’s music through the intense action teaser that was released during the occasion of Vinayagar Chakurhi.
‘Yaanai’ is reported to be a rural action thriller that is set at a high pace, and the film is produced by Drumstick Productions.
