Actor Karthi is one of successful and bankable actors of Tamil Nadu. The actor was recently seen in his 25th film ‘Japan’ directed by Raju Murugan. The actor has now started the work for his next film, tentatively titled Karthi 26 which is directed by Nalan Kumarasamy. The movie shooting began after a muhurat pujah, a couple of weeks back and the movie crew also celebrated the director’s birthday on the sets a couple of days back. Producer Gnanavel Raja, in a recent media interview revealed that the movie’s title and the first look poster will be announced in December. He also revealed that nearly 50% of the shooting has been completed and he added that it is shaping up very well. Karthi 26 work is now going on full progress and the cast of the film includesSathyaraj, Rajkiran, and actress Kirthi shetty is playing the female lead role in the movie. On the work front, after Karthi 26, the actor has few films lined up that include a movie with ’96’ director Prem Kumar and ‘Kaithi 2’ with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. However, the official announcement is yet to be made by the movie makers.
