Vijayapura

The BJP should first mend its infighting in the party. Congress MLA and former Deputy Chief Minister Lakshman Savadi said, there is a rodent in his palm, why do they talk about a fly in our palm.  He was speaking to media persons at the Sainik School helipad in the city on Monday in response to BJP’s new State President Vijayendra’s statement that discontent will erupt in the Congress after the Lok Sabha elections.

Let us remember what happened in the Legislative Assembly. There is no need to talk about us. Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah had come together during the assembly elections. As a result, the Congress government came to power. The BJP has been making baseless allegations that the two are fighting for power.  It is not right to make unnecessary statements for publicity. There is unity in the Congress party. 136 MLAs are working together. Comfortably people are satisfied with five guarantees. They are not able to tolerate it, he said, attacking the BJP.

Reacting to BJP leaders’ statement that there will be no Congress government after Operation Hasta and Lok Sabha elections, Savadi said, many disgruntled BJP leaders are already in touch with us. Let’s wait and see who will attract whom after January 26.   The BJP has no future ahead. Realising that, I left the BJP.  Who will attract whom will be known soon, he said.
