Agriculture Minister N Chaluvarayaswamy said that the agricultural society should work continuously for the prosperity of farmers at the district level.
He spoke at the State Level Executive Committee Meeting of the Karnataka Pradesh Krishika Samaj at Krishi Bhawan in the city on Monday.
He said that the agricultural society is a pro-farmer organization, so the executive committee should work according to its original desire.
There is a need for mutual cooperation and coordination among the members of the agricultural society.
Minister Chaluvarayaswamy suggested to work in a planned and structured manner. Farmers are likely to get insurance money worth 2500 crores. Preventive sowing and interim relief already. Including Rs 230 crore has been released by the state government.
He called that the farming societies should also be made aware of 100 percent registration of FRUITS ID and EKYC.
The new presidents of the district units were felicitated in the meeting.
Director of Agriculture Department GT Putra, Vice-President of Agricultural Society Prabhakar, Private Secretary of the Minister C Papanna, Adinistrative President of Agricultural Society Jayaswamy and others attended the meeting.
