Pattamal Veeraswamy, mother of Crazy Star V Ravichandran and wife of popular yesteryear producer N Veeraswamy, breathed her last today morning at a private hospital in Bengaluru. She was 83.
Pattamal was suffering from Alzheimer’s and age-related illness for a long time. The mortal remains will be kept for public viewing at Ravichandran’s residence in Rajajinagar. The last rites are likely to be performed today. In an interview Ravichandran had said, “My mother is bed ridden. My wife Sumathy has been looking after her, which is not at all easy. Despite having Alzheimer’s, my mother never forgets me and my wife.”
The sandalwood fraternity has mourned the death of Ravichandran’s mother. Pattamal’s husband Veeraswamy has produced many popular films Nagarahavu, Bhootayyanna Maga, Gopi Krishna, Halli Meshtru, Ramachari, Kindara Jogi, Nannu Nanna Hendthi, Savi Sullu, Chakravyuha and many others.
It may be called that senior actor Rajesh passed away on February 20. He was 89. Rajesh born on 15 April 1935 in Bengaluru. His passion for acting started at a tender age, as he joined a theatre troupe. His stage name was Vidya Sagar.
