Speaking as the esteemed chief guest at the prestigious Namma Bengaluru Award presentation ceremony, an event orchestrated by the Namma Bengaluru Foundation, Governor Shri. Thaawarchand Gehlot emphasized the significance of Karnataka in the country’s progress. The state’s illustrious history, present-day technological advancements, and abundant natural resources have made it a unique bastion of cultural and spiritual heritage.

Governor Gehlot lauded Bangalore as one of India’s most culturally diverse and multilingual cities, often referred to as the Silicon Valley and Garden City. He underscored its critical role as a prominent center for education, information technology, startups, and Indian tech companies.

The Governor also pointed out that Bangalore earned the distinction of being declared the most livable city in India, as per the Ease of Living Index 2020, owing to its delightful climate and environment. He commended the city as a symbol of innovation and progress, emphasizing its role as a welcoming destination for people from all corners of the world.

The event witnessed the presence of notable individuals, including Pradeep Kar, Chairman and Managing Director of Microlend Limited, Smt. Anita Reddy, Founder Trustee of AVAS, Director of Asian News Network Private Limited, K. Sanjay Prabhu, and several other distinguished guests.
