Two rowdy sheeters have been arrested on the charges of creating public nuisance and attacking the staff of a chicken stall near Valencia Junction in the city on April 10, Sunday.
Those arrested are Preetham Poojary (27) of Jalligudde Bajal and Dheeru alias Dheeraj Kumar (25) of Ekkur.
It is learnt the duo were assaulting people near the Ideal Chicken Stall at Valencia on Sunday evening. When the staff of the stall questioned them the accused attacked Ananth, Jeevan and Sunil with helmets and stones. They even reportedly tried to stab the staff when public interfered.
The two then even picked up a quarrel with the public and were eventually arrested by the police. The two were subject to medical examination when it came to light that the two were under the influence of alcohol and Preetham had even consumed ganja.
