The Kyrgyzstan Emergency Situations Ministry announced on Saturday that the bodies of all six individuals missing after an avalanche have been recovered. Three bodies were found on Friday, with the remaining three located on Saturday morning.

The group of 14 people had ventured into the mountains of the Chatkal district in the Jalal-Abad region on October 9 to collect medicinal plants. After an avalanche struck on Sunday, rescuers were able to locate eight members of the group alive on Wednesday.

Avalanches, which can rapidly flow down slopes, are often triggered by various factors, including heavy snowfall or human activity.
