MLA Dr. Shamanur Sivashankarappa said that it is possible to form a perfect personality by following the ideals of the nobles. He spoke while inaugurating the Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti program which was organized on Saturday at Gundi Kalyana Mandir in the city under the joint auspices of various departments including Davangere District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Scheduled Caste Welfare Department, Valmiki Development Corporation. Every year the government has been celebrating Mahatma Jayanti including Valmiki, Ambedkar, Basaveshwar Jayanti. He said that the basic purpose of Jayanti celebrations is to create the best personality if everyone adopts his principles and ideals in their lives. Conveying the wishes of Valmiki Jayanti to all the society, the MLA said that the social messages given by Shri Valmiki Munis through Ramayana will remain forever as long as this world exists.
