In a significant development, the CCB Police have apprehended a man from Ullal on charges of drug peddling. This individual was a subject of interest in several similar cases being investigated by the police. The man in custody has been identified as Abdul Azeez, also known as Poker Azeez, aged 42. Authorities allege that he was involved in the distribution of MDMA to students and the general public in Ullal. The police operation resulted in the seizure of 26 grams of MDMA with an estimated value of Rs 1.3 lakhs, in addition to a car, mobile phones, and a digital weighing machine. The total value of the confiscated items stands at Rs 6,41,500. This arrest marks a significant step in curbing the illegal drug trade, ensuring the safety of the community.
