AAP Arose Out Of The Challenge Faced During The Satyagraha With Anna Hazare: Mukhyamantri Chandru

Must read

Dr. Mukhyamantri Chandru, AAP State President, currently engaged in a state tour for local party organization, visited Vijayapur district on Sunday. During his visit to Siddeshwar Swami’s Sannidhi Jnana Yoga Ashram, he addressed the media, dismissing claims that Anna Hazare’s satyagraha was politically motivated. He emphasized that the birth of AAP was in response to a challenge thrown by the central government, and that Anna Hazare’s goal was to establish a corruption-free system through the Lokpal Bill, not to gain power.

Chandru lauded the corruption-free governance in Delhi and Punjab as a testament to their aspirations, citing their expansion across the nation. He criticized the Congress for failing to effectively implement similar schemes and burdening the state with debt.

Expressing concerns about the state’s decisions on water release, he urged the government to emulate Tamil Nadu’s resolve in taking decisive action. Chandru further condemned the BJP-JDS alliance, labeling it a market of thieves and highlighting corruption under their rule.

The press conference was attended by Party State Vice President Rohan Ainapur, State Organizing Secretary Arjunappa Halagi Gowdar, State Secretary Basavaraj Mudigowdar, State Media Coordinator Jagadish V Sadam, District President Bhogesh Solapur, Secretary Ravi Kumar, and other party leaders.
