Victor Wembanyama, the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft, played a significant role in the win by scoring 23 points in 23 minutes. Wembanyama, a 7-foot-4 center from France, demonstrated his skills by making 10 of 15 shots, including 1 of 5 from 3-point range, and both of his free throws. He also contributed four rebounds, four assists, and three blocks to the game.

Devin Vassell was a strong presence for the Spurs, hitting 6 of 7 from beyond the arc and finishing with 21 points and three assists. Jeremy Sochan added 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists. On the Miami Heat’s side, Jamal Cain was notable, making 6 of 8 on 3-pointers and scoring 24 points while grabbing 10 rebounds.
