Tamil superstar Suriya’s forthcoming venture, the grand period action drama Kanguva, has become one of the most eagerly awaited films slated for a 2024 release. The film’s action-packed teaser has already ignited immense anticipation among fans and within the film industry. As of now, the film is expected to hit the screens in the summer of 2024, with plans for a wide release in 10 languages and both 2D and 3D formats.
The production of Kanguva has entered a pivotal phase, as the final schedule of the film has commenced in the picturesque landscapes of Southeast Asia, specifically in Thailand. Suriya and the entire crew arrived in Bangkok recently to kick off a three-week-long shooting schedule, primarily set in the dense forests of Thailand. After completing the Thailand schedule, the Kanguva team will return to Chennai for some minor patchwork, with the goal of wrapping up the entire shoot by November.
The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, featuring Bollywood stars Disha Patani and Bobby Deol alongside Jagapathi Babu and Yogi Babu in significant roles. Directed by Siva, Kanguva is further enriched by a captivating soundtrack composed by the talented Devi Sri Prasad. This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between renowned Tamil and Telugu production houses Studio Green and UV Creations, elevating the excitement and anticipation surrounding its release.
