Davangere University Mathematics Department Professor Prof. BC Prasannakumar along with four research fellows under his guidance Dr. RJ Puneet Gowda, Dr. R Naveen Kumar, Dr. JK Madhukesh and Dr. RS Varun Kumar has also been inducted.
Stanford University has prepared this list by considering various criteria including quality research, research report, research citations, articles including H-Index, I-Ten Index and according to these criteria scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields. Prof. BC Prasanna Kumar has been ranked this year and has been ranked for the third time in a row. In addition to this, it is noteworthy that he has been ranked in the achievement of professional life.

Dr. RJ Puneet Gowda of Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology, Davangere, Dr R Naveen Kumar of Arita Vishwa Vidyapeetam, Bengaluru, Dr GK Madhukesh and Dr RS Varun Kumar are working as Assistant Professors in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetam, Bengaluru.
