Must read

Ocwen Financial Solutions Private Limited, an American corporation, is making a positive impact in Bangalore by providing free education and support to mentally challenged individuals through its corporate social responsibility initiative. The company has partnered with the Bangalore-based NGO, ‘The Association for the Mentally Challenged,’ to offer educational opportunities and skills training to those in need.

Ocwen’s initiative focuses on empowering mentally challenged individuals by teaching them skills such as making jute bags, mats, towels, and various food products, including biscuits and flavored fruit jam. This program not only enhances their skillsets but also encourages their integration into society, fostering a sense of belonging.

For over 30 years, Ocwen has been committed to supporting institutions that cater to the needs of mentally and physically challenged individuals by developing much-needed infrastructure and providing resources. Their ongoing dedication to social responsibility has positively impacted the lives of many.

Recently, a delegation from Ocwen, including Chair President and CEO Glen Messina, Lead Independent Director Kevin Stein, Executive Vice President and CFO Sean O’Neil, Executive Vice President and CAO Dennis Zeleny, along with Ravi SP, Vijay RV, Yadhunath Srinivasmurthy, and others, visited a special school and day care center for mentally challenged individuals located behind the Kidwai Institute of Oncology on Hosur Road in Bangalore. This visit allowed them to gain firsthand insights into the impact of their initiatives and the progress of the beneficiaries.
