Amidst preparations for the Lok Sabha elections, the Food Department’s decision to halt BPL card corrections has caused inconvenience to many. Although a window for amendments has now opened, beneficiaries are facing persistent server problems at Bengaluru One Centers. Scheduled from 10 am to 12 pm and 4 pm to 6 pm daily, the amendment process encounters frequent disruptions due to server glitches.
This ongoing issue has disrupted the distribution of Annabhagya benefits, leaving BPL beneficiaries without essential rice and financial aid. Despite being allowed to make corrections after daily chores, beneficiaries find themselves waiting in long queues daily, only to encounter server failures.
The allowance for three days of corrections has not alleviated the situation, with complaints pouring in daily about the slow server speeds. The closure of the BPL website during the election added to the frustration, exacerbating public inconvenience.
Facing these challenges, the public appeals for swift resolution from the concerned authorities. They emphasize the need for prompt action to address the server issues plaguing the correction process and restore smooth operations at Bengaluru One Centers and other service points.
