ARC Hosts FEI Dressage World Challenge

The Amateur Riders’ Club (ARC) successfully hosted the South Zone qualifier of the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI) Dressage World Challenge – India Team selection at its premier Dressage Arena, located at the heart of Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The event brought together some of the country’s finest equestrian talent, as riders from across southern states showcased their skill, control, and artistry.
Competitors from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Puducherry impressed the judges with precision and elegance, all vying for a spot on the national team. The FEI Dressage World Challenge, recognized as a gateway for Indian equestrians to the global stage, sets the foundation for the nation’s best riders to compete internationally under FEI standards.
The North Zone qualifier will take place next, after which the top performers from both zones will earn the honour of representing India in global competition.
The contest was officiated by highly experienced FEI judges, Col. Sukhdev Rathore, President of the Ground Jury, and Dr. K.C.S. Reddy, Member of the Ground Jury and Veterinary Delegate. Their presence ensured that the event maintained the highest standards of fairness, compliance, and technical accuracy.
