The Indian men’s Kabaddi team started their campaign at the 19th Asian Games with a commanding 55-18 victory over Bangladesh in a Pool A match. India initially kept the match quiet against their neighbors but soon took control. Seasoned raider Naveen Kumar completed a Super Raid, followed by an All-Out, taking India’s score to 11-2. Bangladesh managed to pull off a Super Tackle against Indian skipper Pawan Sehrawat towards the end of the first half, but India maintained their lead. In the second half, India extended their lead further, ultimately securing a comfortable 55-18 win. India will face Thailand in their next match on Wednesday and take on Chinese Taipei in their final group match on Thursday. The top two teams from the group will advance to the semifinals scheduled for Friday.
