A fire broke out on a BMTC bus in Silicon City on Seshadri road. Upon hearing the news, firefighters rushed t the spot and managed to extinguish the fire.
In 2014, 186 Ashok Leyland buses were purchased. Recently, two mini-buses caught fire in the South End Circle and children's quarters. Later BMTC officials lodged a complaint with Ashok Leyland. Engineers came and inspected all the buses. The buses were then brought back down to the road. But now, the sight of another bus on fire has created anxiety in public.
