Poised For Robust Pan-India Expansion

The launch is in line with the company’s 12-city expansion strategy, to open 25 experience centres in FY23

Design Cafe, one of India’s foremost home interiors’ solutions brands, unveiled its first flagship experience centre in Mysuru today. The centre, located at KB Arcade on Kalidasa road, will be the city’s largest home interior experience centre, spread over 1700 square feet. The people of Mysuru are invited to celebrate the occasion by browsing a large range of home interior designs and solutions, and to experience the thousands of possibilities firsthand.

Design Cafe currently offers over 45,000 design possibilities with world class materials, finishes and  a customer-centric approach to designing homes, focussed on bringing the Indian homeowner’s vision of the family’s ‘dream home’ to life.

The Mysuru EC is Design Cafe’s franchise store that displays four elegantly designed modular kitchens and living rooms inspired by global trends of modern international, traditional, rustic and industrial design themes. Keeping in line with the sensibilities and needs of the Mysuru customer, this EC is equipped with a wide range of innovative, space-saving and smart storage solutions. The company is the first interior design brand in Mysuru to feature a complete 1BHK mock up that comprises a living room, modular kitchen and a bedroom.

Design Cafe will now offer a special 60-day delivery exclusively for its Mysuru customers which is also the fastest turnaround time by any company in the home interior design segment. All modular furniture units will be manufactured at their state-of-the-art factory that spans 35,000 square feet. The company also promises a 10-year warranty and after sales service to every customer as part of its service offering.

Ms. Gita Ramanan, Co-Founder and CEO, Design Cafe said, “Mysuru is no longer seen only as a lucrative second-home market or a retiree’s paradise, but a city where youngsters are finding good job opportunities and a lot of natives are resettling here too. The primary pain-point for homeowners here is the absence of an end-to-end home interiors’ solution brand, leaving them no choice but to travel to Bengaluru to get full home interior design services for their home. This is something that our customers in Mysuru have highlighted to us. So keeping in mind this demand for fully-integrated, affordable interior solutions, we decided to launch our full-suite of offerings to the Mysuru homeowner. We’re excited to extend our solutions to this unique and culturally-rich city, and address all the challenges a Mysuru-homeowner experiences as they look for affordable and quality-focused interior design solutions.

We are also excited to partner with a fellow architect and our franchise owner Abdulla Khan to bring this centre to Mysuru. This is in-line with our vision to empower passionate individuals to blitzscale their own entrepreneur journeys, and we trust Abdulla Khan to deliver a top-tier experience to our customers.”

Shezaan Bhojani, Co-founder and CEO, Design Cafe said, “Buoyed by our successful launch in Chennai and Thane earlier this year, we are confident about expanding our presence to Mysuru. We are confident that the cornerstone of Design Cafe’s expertise- affordable designer homes will find favour with the Mysuru homeowner. The key to our affordability proposition is our in-house R&D team and supply-chain, which enables us to offer every possible design at competitive price points, second to none. This new centre will be an important contributor for our company’s growth, as we are expecting to design & deliver more than 150 homes in Mysuru in 2022.”
