Youth Congress National General Secretary MS Raksha Ramayya has been elected as the President of Karnataka Table Tennis Association. Till now, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi was serving as the President of the association.
Raksha Ramayya was elected unopposed for a period of 6 years. Before Pralhad Joshi, Health Minister Dinesh Gundu Rao had served as the President.
Speaking on the occasion, Raksha Ramayya said, Sports helps in the all-round development of the youth and helps in mental and physical development. Table tennis is the most important sport that provides exercise to all the organs of the body. He said that he would work hard to take table tennis, a symbol of concentration, to take it to the path of further progress in the state.
