Physiotherapist Dr Geeta Joshi (Tavaegeri) was honoured with the lifetime achievement award by SDM University on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day at SDM College of Physiotherapy. SDM University Vice-Chancellor Dr Niranjan Kumar and other dignitaries felicitated Dr Geeta and commemorated her services to the people of North Karnataka for the last five decades. Dr Geeta, who passed BSc in Physiotherapy from GS Medical College in Mumbai in 1970, has treated thousands of patients. When she was in Pune, she established the Physiotherapy Centre at KEM Hospital, Pune.
