South African fast bowler Anrich Nortje will not be available for the third ODI against Australia, scheduled for Tuesday at the JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom. Nortje, 29, left the field after bowling five overs during the second ODI in Bloemfontein on Saturday due to lower back spasms. Although he returned to bat during the chase, further assessment is required. He will undergo scans in Johannesburg on Monday, and an update on his condition will be provided in due course.
