It is often said that after retirement from Government service, one should lead a comfortable life. But here is a man who has retired and is living his new life as a farmer. Apart from this, he is also creating awareness among farmers to adopt organic farming on their land and distributing free organic manure.

Srisaila Koogali, who had earlier served in the Army, and a resident of the City, he owns around 8 acres of land near the Anagavadi rehabilitation centre. Without applying any chemical fertilizers on this land, he uses organic manure made by himself in his farm to harvest quality crops.

They have built an agricultural cottage on their land, produced various types of organic manure and used it for their land. This organic manure is made from cow urine and cow dung and used for the farm. In addition, farmers who come to watch are given a bottle free of cost.   In addition to this, information on buttermilk, jaggery, curd left to rot, bilvapatre nut, leaf manure and waste decomposer, jeevamrita of the plant world, how it is made is also kept.

In addition, he has shown that manure can be made from an organic material called stone arka and used for fields.  He has shown how to mix and use the organic manure  for the land. He also explains how crops made of stone will benefit the fields. This farmer has shown how decomposing onions in water and using liquid water resulting from it can be life-saving for the crop.In addition, various waste grains and food items are decomposed and used as organic manure. In this way, they make organic manure in different ways and use it for their fields.
