Dispute Cases Speeded Up, People’s wanderings Put On Hold, Minister Krishna Byregowda Appreciates

The dispute petitions of common people are being disposed of quickly within the time limit for the last two months, the unnecessary rush of people to the taluk offices has now been stopped. Minister Krishna Byre Gowda said that the public service of revenue department officials should continue like this.

Minister Krishna Byre Gowda, who has been continuously conducting progress review meetings in Belagavi, Kalaburgi, Mysuru and Bengaluru divisions for the last two months and instructed the officials that thousands of pending dispute applications should be disposed of within the time limit and people-friendly administration, has started a district-wise tour from  Thursday.

Speaking at the first district progress review meeting of the revenue department held in the city on Thursday,  he said, common people have a lot of hopes and expectations on the new government. In order to fulfill those promises, the work of the public in the revenue department has been conceptualised for the last two months. Time limit for late dispute applications has been reduced and people have to travel to taluk offices daily. And in that regard, further improvement is being thought of, and even in the district, the officials should be determined to serve the people, he said.
