MYSURU
We are not doing Operation Hasta. BJP and JD(S) leaders are saying that they will come on their own, accepting our party’s image and ideology. We welcome those who come like that, DK Shivakumar said.
Shivakumar, who arrived here today to attend a preparatory meeting on the preparations for the inauguration of the Griha Lakshmi scheme, was speaking to the media near the Airport.
We are not trying to bring anyone on our own. They are deciding the image of our party in terms of their future. It is too early to say how many people will come. Everything has time, time and time. When that moment comes, everything will happen.
Asked about attempts being made to lure JD(S) MLAs into the Congress, he said, If I keep saying such things, it will become very big. Don’t discuss it now.
On the shift of the Griha Lakshmi scheme programme from Belagavi to Mysuru, he said, there is no politics behind the project shifting to Mysuru. We are planning to do another programme in Belagavi. It is a unanimous decision, he said.
In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, we will win 2 Lok Sabha seats in Belagavi. The Annabhagya scheme was to be held in Mysuru. But There are some obstacles to it and we are starting the Griha Lakshmi project from here. We had planned to perform in Bengaluru as well. We have shifted to Mysuru as there will be traffic problems, he said.
