In an advisory issued by Bescom, residents of Bangalore are informed about the upcoming temporary disruptions in power supply from August 22 to 24 due to essential maintenance activities. While these outages might cause inconvenience, the maintenance works are vital for ensuring a reliable and efficient power infrastructure. On August 22, residents of Lakshmi Layout, Kammanahalli, Shantiniketan, Dodamma Layout, Panduranganagar Layout, BWSB Kottanur, and the surrounding areas should expect power interruption between 10 am to 3 pm. The following day, August 23, power supply will be temporarily suspended from 10 am to 4 pm in Yelahanka New Town, Vidyaranyapura, Nyayanga Barangay, Unnikrishna Double Road, Seshadripuram, Dairy Circle, Someswara Nagar, Chaudeshwari Layout, GKVK, NCBS, and the neighboring localities. August 24 will witness power interruptions from 10.30 am to 3.30 pm in Sahakharanagar, Batarayanpur, Talakaveri Layout, Amrithalli, Jakkuru, Bhubaneswarinagar, Amritnagar, Shivaram Karantnagar, Navyanagar, Kodigehalli Main Road, Defense Barangay, and the vicinity. Additionally, the HSR Layout, Jakkasandra, CPWD Quarters, Teachers Colony, Venkatapura, KSRP Quarters, MLA Layout, Somasundarapalaya, Haralur Road, Agra Flyover, Hosur Main Road, Ambedkar Nagar, ITI Layout, Beguru, and other areas will experience power disruptions from 10 am to 3 pm. Residents of Bommanahalli, Kudlu, Vastu Layout, Maruti Layout, Koramangala, Weavers Colony, Maruti Nagar, Pillaganahalli, Gottigere, MLA Layout, Kammanahalli, Balaji Garden Layout, Basavanpura, Tejashwininagar Phase-2, Mylasandara, Hommedaddahalli, Prabhavana Reddy Betadasapura, Hullahalli, and surrounding areas will also be without electricity for a specified period. Although these temporary power disruptions might pose inconveniences, they are a part of essential maintenance efforts to ensure the sustained and reliable power supply in Bangalore.
