Pedestrian killed in road accident incident

A 30-year-old pedestrian, Raja, was killed after being hit by a speeding motorcycle near Amareshwar Camp in Manvi taluk on Sunday. Police said he was walking along the roadside when a Pulsar motorcycle struck him from behind, causing fatal injuries. He died on the spot before help could arrive. The motorcycle rider, Marappa, sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to a private hospital in Raichur. The pillion rider, Nandish, was also injured and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Manvi. The accident has left the victim’s family in deep shock. Police have registered a case at Manvi Police Station and begun an investigation into the incident.
