Residents of Hubballi are facing fresh traffic problems after a road near Desai Circle in Deshpande Nagar was closed for water pipeline work. The Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation and Larsen & Toubro have begun laying pipelines to reduce water wastage in the area. Citizens said the closure has increased travel difficulties, especially while flyover construction is already causing congestion across the city. Locals also complained that workers digging the roads failed to follow safety measures and proper planning. Ambulances and emergency vehicles from nearby districts are reportedly struggling to pass through the affected route safely during peak traffic hours daily.
