The Handloom and Textiles Department has invited applications for bank loan assistance for handloom weavers under the Mudra scheme for 2026-27 in Koppal district. Three targets have been set for the district. Applicants can use loans to buy looms or working capital from nationalized banks. Each beneficiary will get 20 percent margin money up to fifty thousand rupees. Last date to apply is May 20. Officials said scheme aims to support traditional weaving and rural livelihoods strongly encouraged.
