The Koppal Municipality has extended the deadline for paying property tax with a 5 percent discount for the financial year 2026 to 27. The new last date is May 31, after the earlier deadline of April 30 was revised. Officials said the decision follows an order from the Urban Development Department. Property owners within municipal limits are advised to pay taxes for their houses and plots before the deadline to benefit from the concession. They are also urged to clear pending water tax and license fees. Payments can be made at the municipal office or through the online e receipt system, said Commissioner Manjunath Gundur.
