Authorities in Tamil Nadu have announced special transport arrangements for the Chitra Pournami festival at Tiruvannamalai. Around 25 lakh devotees are expected to take part in the sacred girivalam walk. To handle the huge crowd, special trains and additional bus services will be operated. Officials said the steps aim to ensure safe and smooth travel for pilgrims coming from different places. Extra crowd control measures and coordination teams have also been planned. Devotees are advised to follow instructions and use public transport for easier movement during the festival days and avoid traffic congestion around temple.
