Nepal Airlines has issued an apology after a “network map” shared on its social media showed Jammu and Kashmir as part of Pakistan, triggering widespread backlash. The airline removed the post shortly after criticism emerged. In a statement, it acknowledged “significant cartographic inaccuracies” that did not reflect its official stance or that of Nepal. It said an internal review is underway to ensure better accuracy in future communications. Emphasising regional ties, the airline expressed regret for any offence caused and reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining strong relations with neighbouring countries.
