Actor Jayasurya is gearing up for his next big project, Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer, with the makers announcing that the teaser trailer will be released on March 31. The film, directed by Rojin Thomas, is already creating strong buzz among fans and the industry.
Coming after the success of Aadu 3, the new film is being planned as a large-scale visual spectacle. It is written by R. Ramanand along with the director and is currently in the post-production stage. The makers have earlier released a first look and glimpse video, which have raised expectations for the film.
Kathanar features a strong ensemble cast including Anushka Shetty, Prabhu Deva, Sanoop Santhosh, Sandy, Devika, Nitish Bharadwaj, Vineeth, Harish Uthaman, Sreekanth Murali, and Kulpreet Yadav in key roles.
The film is produced by Baiju Gopalan and V.C. Praveen, with Krishnamoorthy as executive producer. Cinematography is handled by Neil D’Cunha, while music is composed by Rahul Subrahmanian. Editing and VFX direction are also overseen by Rojin Thomas.
The film has been shot using advanced techniques, including virtual production, and is planned for release in 15 languages, making it one of the most ambitious Malayalam films.
Meanwhile, Aadu 3, directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, continues to perform well at the box office, further boosting anticipation for Jayasurya’s upcoming release.
