The Israel Defence Forces said it targeted a major Iranian facility in Yazd used for producing naval missiles and sea mines. According to the IDF, the site handled planning, development, assembly, and storage of advanced weapons meant for maritime attacks.
Guided by intelligence and naval units, the strike was described as a major blow to Iran’s naval capabilities. Iran has not officially confirmed the attack.
The IDF also reported overnight strikes across Tehran and western Iran, hitting missile launchers, storage sites, and air defence systems. Meanwhile, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced a fresh wave of missile and drone attacks under Operation True Promise 4. Explosions were reported in parts of the Gulf region, while the United States is considering deploying more troops.
