Acclaimed actress Parvathy Thiruvothu, who impressed audiences with her powerful performance in Ullozhukku, is all set to play the lead role in filmmaker Don Palathara’s upcoming project. The film, which is yet to be titled, will also star Dileesh Pothan in a major role.
Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Parvathy expressed her excitement, writing, Stepping into a world created by Don Palathara with none other than my favourite Dileesh Pothan. Rolling soon. Can’t wait! The makers have confirmed that shooting will begin shortly.
This marks Don Palathara’s next venture as writer and director after his 2023 critically acclaimed film Family, which featured Vinay Forrt, Divya Prabha, Nijla K Baby, Mathew Thomas, and Abhija Sivakala in lead roles. Known for his distinct storytelling style, Palathara’s collaboration with Parvathy has already sparked interest among Malayalam cinema fans.
Meanwhile, Parvathy is also gearing up for her role in the OTT series Storm, which marks Hrithik Roshan’s debut as a producer under his banner HRX Films in collaboration with Prime Video. The series will feature Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rama Sharma, and Saba Azad alongside Parvathy.
Set against the backdrop of Mumbai, Storm is described as a high-stakes thriller drama, with production expected to commence soon.
