Kannada actress Divya Suresh has been identified by Bengaluru traffic police as the driver in a hit-and-run incident that occurred on October 4, leaving three people injured. The accident took place in Byatarayanapura in the early hours, and one victim suffered a broken leg requiring surgery.
The incident involved a motorcycle carrying Kiran G and his cousins, Anusha and Anitha. The vehicle, reportedly speeding, struck the trio around 1:30 am near Nithya Hotel. Kiran and Anusha sustained minor injuries, while Anitha’s leg injury required medical attention at BGS Hospital.
The complaint was filed on October 7, after the family focused on Anitha’s treatment. An FIR was registered under relevant sections, noting that the driver had fled the scene without stopping. Initially, the vehicle and driver were unidentified.
Police later tracked the black car using CCTV footage, confirming that Divya Suresh was driving. Authorities stated that investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances of the accident.
Suresh, who had previously taken a break from social media after an earlier accident three years ago, has not made any public statement regarding the current case. Officials have emphasized that the details are based on ongoing investigations and media reports, and the matter is not yet legally resolved.
