Terrorists attacked girls’ schools in Lakki Marwat’s Ghazni Khel area, destroying one school completely and damaging another. The attacks have caused fear among locals and raised worries about children’s safety and education.
The first attack happened late Tuesday night in Pahar Khel Paka village, where militants planted explosives inside the Government Girls’ Primary School. The blast destroyed classrooms, making the school unusable. Luckily, no one was hurt because the attack occurred after school hours. Officials condemned the attack, saying terrorists want to stop children, especially girls, from getting education. Security forces quickly sealed the area and began searching for the attackers.
In a second attack nearby, extremists tried to burn another school. The building’s furniture was damaged, but residents stopped the fire from spreading. Police fought with the attackers, and Constable Gul Rehman was injured and taken to hospital. Police officials praised their forces for bravery and promised to protect schools and communities.
These attacks threaten education, and locals urged the government to increase security at schools to keep children safe and allow learning to continue without fear.
