Singer and actress Lisa Mishra is excited to make her debut performance at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2025. She called it a very special moment in her career.
Lisa shared her feelings, saying she is honoured to be part of the event. “It’s my first time on the IFFM stage, and I can’t wait to share my music with such a vibrant and diverse audience,” she said. “IFFM isn’t just a film festival, it’s a celebration of Indian art and culture on a global platform.”
Lisa is known for her popular songs like Teri Hoon, Tareefan Reprise, Sajna Ve, and Wakhra Song. The festival will be held from August 14 to 24 in Melbourne.
This year’s Spotlight Film at IFFM is Boong, produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment. It marks the directorial debut of Lakshmipriya Devi, who previously worked on Luck by Chance, Talaash, PK, and A Suitable Boy.
Boong stars Gugun Kipgen and Bala Hijam. The film had its world premiere at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival and tells the story of a young boy trying to reunite his family.
