An incident took place in the jurisdiction of Chikkajala police station, where the brother of his grandfather raised a cement brick and killed him saying, Don’t talk to his wife too much. Sandeep Kumar (32) from Bihar was murdered. The perpetrator, Shubhod Mandal (29), has been arrested. The police said that on July 28, the accused had murdered Sandeep and was absconding.
The two, originally from Bihar, came to Bangalore a few years ago and Sandeep Kumar was working as a helper in a cement mixer lorry. Shubhod Mandal worked as a security guard in Banashankari and Sandeep used to talk to his wife on the phone a lot. In the meantime, when he went to the town during Corona, he was close with her. Both of them knew each other from their college days, so the seniors were quiet. However, recently the friendship between the two had increased. Thus, Sandeep warned his parents, daughter- in-law and Shubhod Mandal.
On the other hand, Sandeep also called him and abused him and warned him not to call his wife again. The accused, who was enraged by all these incidents, came to Bangalore a few days ago to plot to kill Sandeep. On the night of July 27, Sandeep was sleeping at home in Chikkajala. The next day at around 9 am, Sandeep came after his night shift, and by this time, both of them had consumed alcohol. Even then there is a fight between the two. Later Sandeep was sleeping. At that time the accused raised the cement brick on Sandeep’s head 2-3 times and escaped. Later, the police said that the accused was arrested in Banashankari based on the accused’s mobile network.
