In 91% of two-wheeler accidents, riders who do not wear helmets are seriously injured. The study found that 77 percent of deaths and 69 percent of injuries occur due to head injuries in accidents. Along with two-wheeler riders, 30 percent of pedestrians also die in accidents. The rear rider who was not wearing a helmet also died. Wearing a helmet can reduce the severity of head injuries by 69 percent and reduce the chance of loss of life by 42 percent. Brain injury in accidents can cause permanent disability. If you wear a helmet, the chances of brain injury will be reduced.
