Indian 3 On The Cards, Says Udhayanidhi

After Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan revealed yesterday and he is impressed with the visuals of his upcoming film Indian 2 directed by Shankar, Udhayanidhi Stalin, in a recent interview with an online media, revealed that there is a potential for Indian 3. The shooting of director Shankars magnum opus Indian 2 is nearing completion with about 20 days of shooting remaining.
Udhayanidhi revealed that director Shankar has a significant amount of unused footage, and that there is a thought about Indian 3, but nothing is fixed yet. The filmmakers have told me that they have a lot of footage shot for the film. Kamal sir and Shankar sir are very happy, said Udhayanidhi.
He further added that the makers are planning to release the film in April, 2024. A sequel to the blockbuster vigilante thriller of the same name, Indian 2 will see Kamal Haasan returning as the freedom fighter Senapathy. Produced by Lyca Productions, Indian 2 has a huge star cast which includes Kajal Aggarwal, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Delhi Ganesh and Bobby Simha playing pivotal characters in the film. Anirudh Ravichander will be scoring music for the film.
