The Bengaluru Police on Thursday morning raided several houses of rowdy sheeters and notorious criminals in East and Southeastern parts of the city and seized lethal weapons. The police conducted raids due to increased criminal activities including the supply of drugs. In the Eastern part of Bengaluru, the raid was led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Bhimashankar Guled. The raids were carried out in Halasuru, Pulakeshinagar, DJ Halli, and KG Halli Police Station limits. In the Southeastern part of the city, the police conducted raids on the houses of history sheeters under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner of Police CK Baba. The raids were conducted in Koramangala, Madiwala, Adugodi, Mico Layout, and neighbouring areas. During the raid, police seized several lethal weapons from the houses of rowdy sheeters. They questioned the history sheeters and warned them to stay away from anti-social activities. The raids were carried out on the orders of newly-appointed Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda.
